Rob Miller talks to Shotstopper Dave Darwent after Hallam's 3-0 victory over Swallownest. Discussing all things career related, views on the win and that astronomical performance in the reverse fixture.
Well Dave, we've heard Scott Bates views from on the touchline. What is your reaction to a fine 3-0 triumph from between the sticks?
A hard fought win in fairness. They are a good side Swallow' and fight for everything and 100% performers in all departments. I think 3-0 did flatter us a bit, however I do think we deserved the win. And on reflection, it's a big three points for us.

Hi did the move come about?
I have known Bamf since I was about 7 years old. He likes to play the right way so when he rang me I didn’t think twice. Also Hallam itself as a club is very appealing with the history behind it.
Glenn Poulton catches with a new young lad who made his debut recently.
Tell us about yourself
My name is Tom Wilson and I’m 16 years old attending Hillsborough college on the Sheffield United futures course. I am preferably an attacking midfielder but also enjoy the holding role of midfield.
Previous clubs and honours
In my previous years I’ve played for Sheffield United from the age of 7, however didn’t reach scholarship level, once I’d been released for not being big enough, and ready for the academy game, I fell out of love with Football I guess, and I wanted that love and joy back, so I joined Thorncliffe Juniors, where a lot of my friends played, where I really enjoyed playing and started really enjoying my Football again. I was then welcomed to Handsworth Parramore U18’s where I continued to enjoy my Football.
